My feelings were quite similar to yours. I was another of those &quot;doesn&#039;t live up to her potential&quot; kids with low grades. I could, however &quot;churn out paper after paper&quot; if it was a subject I was passionate about. If not, it took forever to write, and most times I just didn&#039;t do it at all. I didn&#039;t know I had ADHD until a couple years ago. As for complaining about my home life -- I didn&#039;t. I was the girl with the smile and the laugh on the outside and tears on the inside. I lived in my own private hell. No one knew.&lt;/p&gt;
