&lt;p&gt;Really this should not be the case -- the data to get an incremental update on a liveblog of the keynote is the equivalent of a teeny fraction of a second of voice traffic. There is no rational reason why a properly designed network shouldn&#039;t be able to handle far more than that.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;However, no one has ever accused AT&amp;T, er, Cingular, er, AT&amp;T, of proper network design.&lt;/p&gt;
